1. My husband’s parents live in Tavares, Fl. and are neighbors of Jim. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ivey a couple of weeks ago…in this manner: Around 10 in the morning we were sitting in mom and dad’s living room and someone asked if I had met “Jim”. When I queried, I was told he was out front. Apparently Jim frequently sits in the wicker chair out front, smokes a cigar, does crossword puzzles, and creates a daily cartoon for my mother-in-law, which he slips in with the daily newspaper for her to enjoy. She proudly shared many cartoons that Jim was created for her, and I was happy to enjoy them with her. We sat out front with Jim for a bit, and learned a little about his very colorful past. A pleasure to have met him, and if you talk to him, tell him Lois and Frank’s daughter in law says hello!
