UFC 79: Nemesis
Tomorrow night UFC 79 is on tap. Although there will be several fights, only two matter. Liddell vs Silva and Hughes vs St.-Pierre.
How can ya not go with Liddell? Maybe because he’s lost his last two fights? I’m not sure who will win that one, but I’d bet a bunch that it doesn’t go the distance.
Hughes vs St.-Pierre is the rubbermatch since each fighter has a victory over the other. I’m leaning towards St.-Pierre, but probably won’t make a final decision until right before the fight.
So, any ZONErs inclined to make some predictions sooner?

HUGHES-ST-PIERRE
THIS IS GOING TO BE A GOOD FIGHT. HUGHES LOST HIS LAST FIGHT WITH PIERRE SO YOU KNOW HE WANTS THIS ONE PLUS HE WANTS THE TITLE BACK AND A SHOT AT SERRA. ST PIERRE LOST HIS TITLE TO SERRA AND IF HE WINS THIS THIS FIGHT HE WILL GET HIS SHOT AT SERRA. BUT I PREDICT HUGHES WINS BY DECISION.
LIDDELL-SILVA
FINALLY WE GET TO SEE IT GO DOWN! BOTH ARE COMING OFF LOSSES. LIDDELL NEEDS THIS WIN TO PROVE HE IS STILL ON TOP OF THE GAME. THIS COULD BE A CLOSE FIGHT, SO DON’T BE SURPRISED IF IT GOES TO THE JUDGES… BUT I PREDICT LIDDELL OVER SILVA WITH A SURPRISING KO.
