Mike Zeck’s Conan
I was going through some of my old files and came across this xerox of a Mike Zeck Conan sketch that has to be close to 30 years old. Mike is best known for his work on The Punisher and Captain America, and this sketch gives us a little taste of how cool Zeck’s Conan could be.
You’re right, John, Mike did do a bunch of front pieces for the Conan b&w mag. I may have to dig deeper into the vault and see if I can round up some of them.
Another character that Mike isn’t really known for is the Hulk, but I loved Mike’s version. Actually, Mike could do a great drawing of ANY character.
