Fans of the Captain America movie, or better yet, fans of Captain America and Marvel Comics will recognize the soldiers above as The Howling Commandos.

The Howling Commandos appeared [along with Nick Fury] in their own comic book series and come in at number 45 on the 50 Greatest Marvel [Movie] Easter Eggs.
