Batman Maybe
Batman Maybe is without a doubt my favorite music video right now.
Batman: Knightfall

Want to see a very cool, very well made, stop-motion Batman movie short? If so, here’s Batman: Dark Knightfall.
Mike Torrance: A Tale of Two Carters

Mike Torrance aka The Krayola Kidd is back and he brought Jack Carter with him – both of them. Mike surprised me with this clever take on “Get Carter” at Heroes Con. Mike outdid himself with this one!
You can see more of Mike’s art at The Daily Sketch with The Krayola Kidd (and if you’ve never checked out Mike’s site, you ought to if only to see his Walking Dead cards!) and his Deviant Art site. Mike is available for commissions and his prices are very reasonable.
Evan Bryce Will Draw for You!

I’m a big Evan Bryce fan. I’ve been following his work for a several years and we’ve become friends via the internet. Evan recently posted that he was taking on commissions, so if you collect sketches, why not check out his art. If you’re already a fan, now is the time to put in an order for a sketch or three.
The New “Red Dawn” Trailer
The new Red Dawn trailer looks pretty good, don’t ya think?
Red Dawn Rises Again

Although I haven’t watched it in years, I was a fan of the original Red Dawn. Released in 1984, Red Dawn starred Patrick Swayxze, C. Thomas Howell, Lea Thompson, Charlie Sheen, and Jennifer Grey before they had reached the height of their fame,
Ben Johnson, Harry Dean Stanton, Ron O’Neal, William Smith, Powers Boothe and Frank McRae also had roles and gave the movie the gravitas it would have otherwise lacked.
If the new Red Dawn looks half-way interesting, I think I’ll check it out. If not, then it’s time to fire up the original.
Moore Takes Kirkman to Federal Court

On February 9, 2012, we posted that Tony Moore, the original artist of the hit comic book series The Walking Dead had sued long-time [former?] friend, Robert Kirkman. Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead, claiming that he [Moore} was in truth the co-creator of the series.
A few days later Kirkman’s response was in the news.
At the time I had hope that Moore and Kirkman would be able to come to a mutually satisfactory solution soon. Unfortunately, that wasn’t to be. CBR.com has posted the complaint that Moore has now filed in federal court to be named co-author of The Walking Dead; Brit and Battle Pope.
I hate the reality of this situation.
A Peak at Carter Country

I’m a huge Bob Peak fan. Back in the day, I also enjoyed watching Carter Country. So when I came across this Bob Peak TV Guide cover painting, how could I not post it?
Mel Brook’s Young Frankenstein

If you’re a fan of Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein, and who isn’t, then you might want to check out Eddie Deezen’s profile of the film.
Thanks and a ladle of hot soup to Neatorama.
One Huge Looper

I like this new poster for Looper, If you do as well, and would like to see one so big it could run from the past to the future, you can right here, thanks to the fine folks at ComingSoon.
Brad Pitt is Killing Them Softly

The new trailer for the crime thriller Killing Them Softly is perfect. I can not wait to see this movie.
Killing Them Softly is based on a George V. Higgins crime novel and set in New Orleans, and follows professional criminal, Jackie Cogan as he investigates the robbery of a high stakes, mob-protected, poker game. It stars Brad Pitt, Ray Luotta, James Gandolfini and Sam Sheppard and opens October 7th.
I’ll save you a seat.
The Expendables 2: Last Supper

I don’t know what prompted the idea of this “Last Supper” Expendables 2 banner, but I sure dig it. Check it out at full size to enjoy the details. – Craig
Phil Hester Roughs Up Jack Carter

Phil Hester writes and draws comics for a living. Phil was a guest at MegaCon this year and I hopped to get a sketch from him. As you can see, mission accomplished. What was great was Phil knew exactly what I was looking for and delivered big time. You can follow Phil on Twitter. You’d be crazy not to. – Craig
Judgment is Coming – Don’t Dredd It

The buzz on the new Dredd film is that it’s a throwback to the action films of the 80’s (where have we heard that before?), very violent (well, it is Judge Dredd after all) and very good (one can hope).
