Here’s the final trailer to Dead Rising: Watchtower that premieres on the Crackle channel tomorrow.
Dead Rising: Watchtower looks like the second feature that you’d see at a drive-in on a Saturday night. In other words, I’ll tune in and enjoy it [hopefully] for what it is.

Maggie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and directed by Henry Hobson doesn’t look to be our typical zombie movie. Actually, it may be for that reason I want to see it even more.

Fans of the zombie genre will want to check out Dead Rising Watchtower which will premiere on Crackle on March 27th!
Here’s a trailer to give ya a taste.

The photo above is 100 hours in to a zombie outbreak as tracked by a disease dynamic simulation. You can change the location of the first zombie as well as the speed of the transmission. Click over and have some fun at Zombie-Town USA.

Edward Punn created the above Walking Dead animation character designs and they are spot on. There are even more Walking Dead cast member drawings at Punn’s site plus other cool art that he’s created.
I’ve added Punn’s site to my Feedly so I don’t miss any updates.

This Michael Golden Walking Dead variant cover was given to all attendees who paid full price to get into the Wizard World Indianapolis show way back in 2015.
VIP attendees got a rarer black and white version of the same cover.

Variety reported earlier this week that Cameron Romero [George Romero’s son] zombie movie Origins is moving forward!
The movie has his dad’s blessing and the elder Romero will serve as an executive producer of the film which will be a prequel to Night of the Living Dead.
I like the idea that Cameron has taken up the mantle and plans to carry on the Romero zombie tradition.

Like, Atropa, the short film I posted yesterday, I like everything about today’s short, Isolated, except that it ends too soon.

Cameron Romero [George Romero’s son] has started a Indiegogo to prime the well to get his zombie movie Origins financed.

Here’s the teaser for the new season of The Walking Dead!

Earlier this week AMC released the teaser poster for season five of The Walking Dead which starts next month. If you’d like to see a larger version of the poster you can thanks to Coming Soon.

“This is an extinction-scale event. The president is dead.”
Those are the first two sentences you hear in the trailer to Z Nation which premieres in September on the SyFy Channel.
While it’s true that I’m skeptical of anything brought to us from the folks behind Sharknado, the trailer does look promising. Let me warn you before you watch the Z Nation trailer below, there is typical zombie movie gore. So give the trailer a view and let me know your thoughts.

Recently Vic’s Movie Den posted On the Set – Director George Romero. The piece contains a bunch of behind the scenes photos and video of, you guessed it, George Romero (and others) on the set of Romero’s movies. It’s well worth a look for all Romero, and zombie fans.
