Although I enjoyed the first season of Falling Skies, I didn’t care for the final scene of the last show of the season. Still, I’m more than willing to come back for season two and see where the final scene leads.
Entertainment Weekly just posted some new teaser posters for Falling Skies season two. My favorite is shown above.
Falling Skies season two premieres on TNT on June 17 at 9pm.

Today’s Rocky and Adrian drawing above was created by the uber talented Chris Brunner at last year’s Heroes Con. I’m a huge fan and it was a joy to get a second piece from Chris for my collection. He did my first piece from him back in 2003!
You can see more of Chris’ art at his site.

While we’re on the topic of cool movie posters, how about this sweet teaser for Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For?
There’s speculation that it could be fan-made, but even if it turns out to be, I’m still diggin’ it.

Here’s the latest international poster for Expendables 2. Schwarzenegger – Stallone – Willis… an action fan’s Holy Trinity.
Thanks and a top o’ the beret to IMPAwards where you can see am Expendables-expandable-sized version of this poster.

I’m diggin’ the new international poster for Prometheus and am really looking forward to the movie experience.
Thanks and a tip o’ the space helmet to IMPAwards.

In January 1940, as World War II raged in Europe, The Three Stooges filmed one of their most popular shorts, You Nazty Spy!
Not only was You Nazty Spy! Moe and Larry’s favorite of all their shorts, it also marked the first time that Hitler was spoofed in film and Moe was the first American actor to play Hitler.
You can read more interesting and amusing facts about You Nazty Spy! here and here.
Nyuk! Nyuk! Nyuk!

It’s hard to believe that The Walking Dead is about to hit issue 100. It seems like just yesterday I was signing the praises of the first issue. Now Robert Kirkman is getting ready to celebrate the centennial issue.
Thanks and a swing of a barbwire-wrapped bat to [not at] the fine folks at CBR.com.

That’s the latest photo from Riddick. Diesel is in top form and will move from post-production on Riddick to the next Fast movie. Good times.
ComingSoon has a larger version of the photo above as well as a Riddick gallery.

If you’ve been wondering what Andrew Robinson has been up to, check out this interview with him and find you’ll know

The Rambo drawing above is by the very talented Eli Minaya. I met Eli at this year’s MegaCon. I’d never seen Eli’s art before, but decided on the spot to see about getting a con sketch from him. Eli was up for it and Rambo seemed the natural choice. As you can see from the piece above, it was.

While we’re on the subject of drive-in movies, how about a look at the trailer for El Gringo?
And a tip o’ the sombrero to Chris Mills.

I’m a fan of what I affectionately call drive-in movies. You know, low-budget, high-concept films that seldom rate an all-star cast, but have great entertainment value. Shuffle looks to fit the bill…
If Shuffle sounds like something you’d like, here’s the trailer and if it’s not your cup of tea, come back tomorrow and we’ll talk about something different.

With the Sly’s recent discussion about a new Rambo story brewing, there’s been a lot of speculation that Sly might kill off everyone’s favorite warrior. I received word from Sly who writes….
So no need to worry, Rambo’s not gong to see the Grim Reaper anytime soon! – Craig
