Eli Minaya’s Rambo

The Rambo drawing above is by the very talented Eli Minaya. I met Eli at this year’s MegaCon. I’d never seen Eli’s art before, but decided on the spot to see about getting a con sketch from him. Eli was up for it and Rambo seemed the natural choice. As you can see from the piece above, it was.

Shuffle – Deal Me In

I’m a fan of what I affectionately call drive-in movies.  You know, low-budget, high-concept films that seldom rate an all-star cast, but have great entertainment valueShuffle looks to fit the bill…

  • It’s the story of a man played by TJ Thyne “who begins experiencing his life out of order; every day he wakes up at a different age, in a different year, on a different day of his life.” He “has no idea why he keeps waking up at different points in his life. Using clues from each experience, he begins to piece together why this keeps happening to him and sets out to end it once and for all.”

If Shuffle sounds like something you’d like, here’s the trailer and if it’s not your cup of tea, come back tomorrow and we’ll talk about something different.
