The Plot…

Sugar takes on a new case.  Boxer, Danny Moon is in line for a title shot, but Moon’s missing brother is making him lose focus.  Moon’s brother is on the wrong side of some very bad people and Sugar needs to find him before they do.

Then someone from Sugar’s past shows up to make matters worse.

Thoughts (beware of spoilers)…

Sugar was a 2024 Primetime Emmy nominee for Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series (Half-Hour) – Richard Rutkowski (director of photography) for Starry-Eyed

Season 2 surprised me by letting the air out of the big season 1 twist.  It appeared they were moving on from that “area”.  They’re not.

Sasha Calle and Shea Whigham are great additions to the Season 2 cast.
