The Plot…

1790s.

Tornado and her father travel from remote village to remote village putting on puppet shows to earn a living.  A puppeteer is a far cry from Tornado’s father’s past life.  He was a samurai.  Although he has taught Tornado skills with a sword, he lives a life of peace.

That changes when a thief stashes a bag of gold in the puppet wagon.  The gold was stolen from the vicious Sugarman gang.  Sugarman knows the gold is in the wagon.  He and his gang will kill everyone to get it.

Thoughts (beware of spoilers)…

I like that Tornado brought a different setting to the samuari genre.
